Been a hectic few days since last post.
Ang's parents were down on Sunday and we started building a bridge over our troubled waters. Outcome is in both parties hands. It's a step in the right direction at least. They then took Jaiden back to Melbourne. How long he will be gone for is unknown.
My Mum and Cheryl then came down later in the day for Bingo. At least she is making more of an effort of late too. They won a game so it might happen more often.
The girls Dad called on Monday to tell Ang that lawyers have advised him to revert back to what was decided in court re. the Girls. Long story short he talked to me for over 20 minutes and he got what he wanted. I will pick the girls up on a Sunday night to give him nowhere to go. I asked both Paige and Sarah if they wanted to go to his place for a week over the shcool holidays (happening now) and they jumped at the idea. He however blew them off yet again. All over not having any money. Paige is starting to realise what is going on. Sarah I think has no idea whatsoever and probably doesn't even know what day it is (She has learning difficulties). I told him that if he wanted to be a court order stickler then we could do exactly the same thing. The thing is that in the court orders there is a paragraph stating that if both parties agree to something verbally then that is binding as well. This has happened numerous times but he always throws it back in our faces and threatens us with the magical papers of the court orders.
I told him that Paige and Sarah are NOT chess pieces. They are his daughters.
Monday was a nightmare. Jessica was struck down with a viral rash under her mouth and over her body. Al Mayahe told us that she had Group A Streppococcus. Then a specialist informed us it could be that OR severe Chicken Pox. I rushed her straight to LRH (Hospital) where a lovely doctor confirmed that is was in fact - Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Highly highly contagious but non fatal. Only effective medicine is panadol for pain relief. Should run its course in 10 days or so. Poor little kiddo. She seems full of spirit though and in not much pain. The sores under her mouth did resemble a Maori tattoo at one stage. Now they look awfully sore and blistered.
I worked Monday night covering Lyn's shift as she was sick. Extra kitty is always a good thing.
Tuesday was spent organizing with our local Council over discounted rates (pensioner) and getting a bigger rubbish binny as our medium sized one is crap. I have to do The 'Burbs (Tom Hanks movie) on the bins most weeks. Funny stuff indeed. Worked in the night and had to put up with Sour Puss Marissa. I just ignored her all night. She did the same. No skin off my back there....
